Ben Simmons will miss the next three Brooklyn Nets games, as he is dealing with a calf injury he sustained Monday vs the Orlando Magic.

After undergoing medical tests, he was diagnosed with a left lateral upper calf strain and will be out for at least a week. The former All-Star will be re-evaluated next week.

Ben Simmons will miss the Nets’ games vs the Washington Wizards (Wednesday), Toronto Raptors (Friday) and Boston Celtics (Sunday).

The 26-year-old playmaker is averaging 8.4 points, 6.6 rebounds, 5.8 assists and 1.2 steals in 17 games this season. Over the last seven games, he has improved his numbers to 13.6 points, 7.6 boards, 6.1 assists, 1.6 steals and 1.0 block.

Brooklyn is at 11-11 and will seek its first three-game winning streak of the season.
