Shopify Rebellion’s playful offlaner Jonáš "SabeRLight-" Volek recently talked about his close friendship with certain players during a livestream. Following its near-undefeated run on its debut tour in the North American Dota 2 Pro Circuit 2023 (DPC 2023): Winter Tour, Shopify Rebellion were able to secure an invite for the upcoming Lima Major.

Following the conclusion of the first regional tour, members of Shopify Rebellion were seen taking time off by livestreaming on Twitch such as SabeRLight- & Andreas "Cr1t-" Nielsen.

"Me & Arteezy are besties" - Saberlight on his list of close friends

During the livestream, Shopify Rebellion's SabeRLight-  was asked by a follower about his list of close friends in the current competitive scene. The Czech offlaner first responded by saying that he has a close friendship with former TSM teammate, Enzo “Timado” Gianoli during his two years stint with the team.

“Who would you say that you are closest with as a pro player? I think probably Timado, but we don’t talk a lot like we usually do after I moved to Shopify Rebellion. But with him, I think we’re pretty close together.” he said.

He then went on to list several well-known personalities that he also has a close bond with as friends, such as Team Liquid’s coach William “Blitz” Lee, Tundra Esports’s Oliver “skiter” Lepko and fellow teammates Artour "Arteezy" Babaev & Kanishka "BuLba" Sosale.

“But as of now, I would say that I’m close with BuLba I guess. I am kind of close with skiter as well. Not that close but I guess close enough to be considered as a friend. I’m friends with Blitz. Who else? Of course Arteezy as well. Me and Arteezy are besties.”

He then ended the conversation by saying that he is very close with Timado & skiter overall, as he often hung out with the latter at LAN events.

Shopify Rebellion are currently scheduled to be taking part in the latest iteration of the BeyondTheSummit’s [BTS] Pro Summit as it was invited to the tournament, however the team will not be playing until 15th February as the team will be only playing in the playoffs.
