Epulze, along with 4D Esports have already begun preparations for South America’s (SA) first ever Valve Major event in the Peruvian capital of Lima.

With Division I of the Winter Tour slowly coming to an end, all of the regions have begun to finalize their representatives for the upcoming Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) Major as the final matches are expected to conclude over the weekend.

Here are all the DOTA 2 teams that have earned direct qualification to the Lima Major 2023

Having made headlines with the rise of quality within South American teams such as beastcoast & Thunder Awaken last year, the South American region was well-rewarded for its efforts as Valve announced that the first DOTA 2 Major of the 2023 DPC season will be held in the region. The global esports scene was rattled to see the kind of response this particular event received from the local crowd in attendance.

In a joint collaboration, Swedish based company Epulze along with 4D Esports will be working together on the production side of things as they prepare for the upcoming Lima Major, scheduled to take place from 22th February to 5th March. Additionally, the Major will feature a prizepool of $500,000 USD as well as 1,900 DPC points that will split amongst the top eight teams at the Major.

Out of the eighteen teams, over half of them are already mathematically confirmed to have qualified for the upcoming Major with the other half of the list expected to be finalized over the weekend.
