Pearls of India Slot Review

The Pearls on India slot is powered by Play ‘n GO and has 5 reels and 20 paylines. Playable from 20p per spin, join adventurer Rich Wilde on a quest to uncover the sacred pearls of India. In the base game, winning spins see the multiplier increase up to 10x. In the Free Spins feature, there are up to 30 free spins to be won and up to 50x multipliers. There is also a bonus feature where you choose different temples to win cash prizes of up to 250 x your stake. With 10,000 x stake max wins, check out our Pearls of India review below.

Pearls of India Slot RTP, Details & Wager Limits

The Pearls of India slot game is played using 5 reels, 3 rows and 20 fixed paylines. A win is created when you land 3, 4 or 5 matching symbols across any of the paylines from left to right beginning from reel 1.

The stake levels range from 20p to £100 per spin catering to all bankrolls. Despite being released in October 2014, it comes with an Auto Play function where you can choose up to 100 auto spins. It also gives you the option to set up single win limits or stop the autoplay when your balance increases or decreases by a chosen amount.

The Pearls of India RTP is 96.87%, which is high for an online slot of this type. Variance wise, this game is medium and is rated as 6/10 by Play ‘n GO. With frequent wins in the base game, there’s scope for bigger wins here and in the Free Spins feature due to the multipliers.

The maximum win is 10,000 x your stake. In theory, you can win 1,000 x stake per free spin and the 50x multiplier could lead to 50,000 x stake payouts. However, Play ‘n GO has capped the max win to 10,000 x stake.

Theme – join Rich Wilde and exercise your karma

The Pearls of India slot game is based on adventurer Rich Wilde and is the sequel to the Aztec Idols slot by Play ‘n GO which also features the explorer. Well designed, the soundtrack is authentic and godly. It complements the overall gameplay well and it’s an easy slot to get the hang of.

Set in ancient India, you join Rich Wilde on his quest for sacred pearls. With mountains in the backdrop, it has a sacred feel to it. Central to the action is the Trimurti which is the triad of the 3 Indian gods Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva.

With the reels floating in the air, symbols include low-value A, K, Q, J and 10 royals. You will also see hands as well as statues of gods Vishnu, Brahma and Shiva.

Rich Wilde is the wild symbol and most valuable. It substitutes for all symbols bar the pearl scatter. It appears on reels 2, 3 and 4 in the base game and on all 5 reels in the Free Spins feature. Landing 5 on a payline will result in a payout of 50 x stake.

Pearls of India Bonus Features

The Pearls of India slot comes with 3 bonus features. You have a bonus feature where you choose from various temples to win cash prizes. In the base game, there are also increasing multipliers that can reach 10x. But it’s arguably all about the Free Spins feature where the multipliers can reach a whopping 50x.

Multipliers feature

You will notice there’s a multiplier chart to the right-hand side of the reels. When you landing a winning combination, it will be subject to a 1x multiplier. Then the contributing symbols disappear to be replaced by new symbols. If you have another winning spin, it will be subject to a 2x multiplier.

Another win will increase the 4x, then 6x and finally 10x. This means you can win multiple times on every base game spin up to 10x if you’re lucky.

Bonus feature

Look out for the temple symbol as these are collected when you see them. Collecting 25 temple symbols will trigger the Bonus feature. You then get to select from 3 different temples:

  • Statue of Vishnu       Pick pearls out of the hands of the statue
  • Wheel of Brahma     Spin 3 rings on a wheel to get a matching symbol
  • Wall of Shiva            Open tiles on a wall

For all temple options, 250 x your total stake can be won.

Free Spins feature

The main attraction is the Free Spins feature which triggers when you land 3 pearl scatter symbols on the 3 middle reels. You will start with 10 free spins. What makes this feature great is that the multiplier comes into play. They begin at 1x, 2x, 4x, 6x and 10x respectively.

You will then collect pearls that will reward you with extra free spins whilst increasing the multiplier values. For every 5 pearls, the multiplier values go up. You will also get 5 extra free spins:

Pearls Collected    Multipliers    Extra Free Spins
5                               2x to 20x          + 5
10                            3x to 30x          + 5
15                            4x to 40x          + 5
20                            5x to 50x          + 5

In total, you can get up to 30 free spins with a massive 50x multiplier on free spins.

Pearls of India VERDICT

The Pearls of India slot was released back in 2014 so is often overlooked by slot players. Nicely balanced variance wise, the multipliers in both the base game and Free Spins feature can lead to max wins of 10,000 x your stake.

Graphically it’s pretty good in comparison to a lot of other slots with this theme, and the RTP of 96.87% is very high, which is one of a few reasons why we’d recommend this Play ‘n GO title.

If you want to join adventurer Rich Wilde on more adventures, he features in many Play ‘n GO slots.
