Not Enough Kittens Slot

Thunderkick has shown some great promise with the recent releases of Flame Busters and Pink Elephants. In fact, Pink Elephants was even nominated for the 2017 Best Slots Award.

This slot doesn't have the same kind of potential as the last couple releases, but it makes sense to mix it up a bit with some lower variance. The max win on Not Enough Kittens is 3650x which is not bad, but not even half the max win potential of Pink Elephants.

Not Enough Kittens is a video slot with 5 reels and 35 fixed pay lines. The game features double symbols and a bonus game with free spins and retriggers. The theoretical return to a player is 96.1%.

It did feel more like a medium volatile slot to us when we tried it out for this review with quite low payouts in the base game. A 28x "Big Meow" celebration is a tell tale sign if anything of this.

Graphically it is a stunnig slot, maybe one of the better looking we've seen in a while. The music is great as well going in to the bonus in particular! It's a bit confusing keep track of what cat is what symbol as some of them look quite similar to each other.

As seen in the image above, the cats can come two at a time, doubling the win. If you get 10 black cats, which is the highest paying symbol, you will be awarded a 100x win.A single cat symbol will double in a pay line that includes a wild symbol. The wild symbol can come in pairs as well and it's possible to land 10 wilds and a 100x win.

The wild symbol substitutes for any other symbol except the scatter symbol. In the Bonus game, all wilds are stacked. A wild symbol in a pay line including a cat symbol is always counted as a double wild symbol.

Get 3 or more scatters to trigger the Bonus game consisting of free spins. The amount of free spins awarded depends on the number of scatters. There are two kinds of scatter symbols - a single scatter symbol and a double scatter symbol. It is possible to land a maximum of 6 scatter symbol (double scatters on reel 1, 3 and 5) which will reward you with 25 free spins.

Dive Through Cat Flaps for Free Spins

Pink cat flaps represent the Scatter symbol in Not Enough Kittens and you’ll be hoping to see at least three of them appear across the first, third and fifth reel during the same spin as this sees you make a quick exit from the base game to enjoy a bout of free spins.

These can also appear in single and double format with the number of Scatters that trigger the bonus feature determining how many free spins you receive with 10, 15, 20 or 25 activated for landing three, four, five or six respectively.

The great thing about this feature is that all Wild symbols appear stacked, plus you’ll be awarded a full retrigger if you’re lucky enough to get your paws on three more Scatter as your free spins play out.

Are You Purring for More?

I’ve spoken to many other punters to seek their opinion on this recent release and, like myself, they are purring for Thunderkick to announce an even wackier sequel to Not Enough Kittens soon, however, you’ll be pleased to hear that there are plenty more cat-themed slots available at the highest-rated online casinos to provide you with your feline fix until, fingers crossed, that comes to fruition.

Despite the flat 2D graphics showing its age,Kitty Glitter introduces you to blinged-up cats and it’s another great option for those of you seeking more feline friendly action. Developed by giants of the industry, IGT, the glitzy game can see you trigger an exciting free spins feature where your aim will be to accumulate sparkling diamonds to sequentially turn each of the four types of cats into additional Wild symbols for the remainder of your 15 free spins.

Meanwhile, you can mingle with another crazy cat lady in 100 Cats. Boasting a vibrant cityscape as the background, you’ll be exploring 5 reels and 100 paylines in search of six different breeds of furry friends, plus the cat lady makes her presence felt as a Stacked Wild symbol and you could secure 10 free spins that can be retriggered.

Triggering the bonuses is not too hard, but in turn, you rarely land anything of real value. The biggest win during our test round was about 60x. The slot is indeed quite charming, but having such an awful test round we kind of stopped laughing after a while. We believe this is a slot people will try out of curiosity, but soon abandon it when they get bored by the low payouts.
